4 tangerines sit, green slowly becoming yellow.
& a banana, yellow rapidly becoming black.

Sometimes when he closed his eyes a horse would be galloping across the inside of his lids, and always there would be a different girl in the saddle, but also always there was a sameness to how he felt as horse and rider slipped out of his field of vision.
